Terms of Use

CannabisReset is a guided programme for stopping or cutting down on cannabis, built from The Quit Cannabis Handbook. It includes audio recordings, a daily check-in, coping tools, reminders you choose, and an AI companion grounded in the book.

CannabisReset is not a medical device, a treatment, a therapy service or a crisis service, and nothing in it is medical advice. The companion is an AI: it is not a clinician, it does not know your medical history, and it can be wrong. If you are unwell, take medication or have a mental health condition, speak to your GP before changing anything. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately.

You must be 18 or over to use CannabisReset.

Everything you write in the app is yours and stays on your device. By using the companion you allow us to send your messages to our AI providers solely to generate a reply, as described in the privacy policy. We do not read, monitor or store them.

Part of the app is free: the first part of the programme, four recordings for the hardest moments, your check-ins and counters, and the crisis numbers. The rest — the companion, Parts 2 to 6, and the hour of hypnotherapy — needs a membership. New users get three days of full access before choosing.

Memberships are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through your Apple ID or Google account. The plans, their length and their price are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is taken when you confirm. A subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue them ourselves. Restore purchases is available in the app under Settings.

• Do not copy, share, resell or republish the recordings, text or programme. They are the author's work and licensed for your personal use.
• Do not reverse-engineer the app or use automated systems to access it.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful.

Companion replies are generated by AI and may contain errors. They are for support and reflection, not clinical advice. Use your own judgement, and use the crisis numbers when you need a person.

There is no account and no server copy. Losing, wiping or replacing your phone means losing your history, and we cannot recover it.

The book, its recordings and the programme are the work of the author. The app, its design and code are ours. "CannabisReset" and the mark are our trademarks.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR €100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS RIGHTS YOU HAVE AS A CONSUMER UNDER THE LAW OF YOUR COUNTRY.

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and continued use means acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of France and the European Union. Disputes go to the competent courts of Paris, except where mandatory consumer law of your country provides otherwise. EU consumers may use the Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
